Background
Recognized as a non-profit association and founded in 2009, the Society for German-Arab Encounters (GDAB) combines substantial experience in intercultural exchange and the strong belief in German-Arab friendship. Mrs. Naimeh Hollmann as head of the organization joins forces with program alumni eager to enable others to gather invaluable experiences through dialog and exchange across cultures.
The GDAB will build upon more than 20 years of experience in the concept development, organization and implementation of exchange programs between Germany and the Arab world. Past programs have been conducted with the United Arab Emirates, Jordan, Libya, Iraq, Syria, Tunisia, Yemen, and Oman.
